Yesterday, I submitted a request to my university's library for a book via inter-library loan. The library refused to process the request because they own a copy of the book. Which is true, but according to the library's own online catalog the only copy is currently checked out and not due back until two days after the paper for which I intend to use it is due.

Another library related complaint. Apparently my university's library has a huge problem with theft. I had last weekend free, for the first time in 2 months or so, and I wanted to check out a movie. Blade runner? Stolen. The Fifth Element? Stolen. District 9? Stolen. Charlie Wilson's War? Stolen. Goddamnit why can't they get netflix or pirate like everybody else.

Also, why do non-smokers tend to gather around public ashtrays and then complain about having smoke blown in their faces? Would they prefer that I litter?

I actually have the opposite situation. I'm sick and tired of being open with people due to the medication I'm on. I'm not myself as of late, and while I like some of what I do, I hate the bubbly and open not-me that I've been for the past week or so.

It's funny how they want to be your friend after they completely screw you over. And by funny I mean bat-shit annoying.

My vent: I got sick last tuesday with a fever, sore throat, body aches. And I still have it even though it's a lot better now. But still, ugh! Being sick sucks. Death to all viruses!

Its not just cold, its so fucking cold I couldn't tell if my fridge was working or not earlier today because everything felt room temperature and I cannot afford to pay $600 fucking dollars for the minimum amount of fuel the the heating company is willing to deliver.
