Seriously, flying right into Klingon space? What the fishsticks, cappy? I'd have left them to die and been on my way. Kobayashi Maru scenario = win.

I would have stolen a Klingon ship and launched it on a ramming course against the Kobayashi Maru. Then blame it on Klingon suicide terrorists.
