On the contrary, Igor Stravinsky made real music because he was rejoicing in how great his life was.

My favorite genre is emo, if anyone cares enough.

I also listen to rap, pop punk, and those kinds of things.

This is true; the very same can be said about Mozart. Except for that period where he happened to be dying.

I should've been a bit more descriptive in that previous post. That quoted comment wasn't directed at you; rather, it was a generalisation cast at a large amount of music "fans" I've come across who deride baroque music because it's not "real" enough, where "real" means "talking about how shitty your life and the world are in dry prose".

The problem is that Mozart's "music" does no such thing. It's artificial, bland, and lifeless. There's no sincerity in it.

Of course, Mozart wasn't really of the Baroque era, but he suffers from the same basic problems.

Most metal (exclude grindcore, goregrind, industrial (other than Ministry or Godflesh or Isis), metalcore, deathcore, deathgrind, black metal), classic rock, hard rock(1970's through 1990's), soft rock, blues, orchestral singing(Simon and Garfunkle?), and most country.

I almost forgot Prog.
