I also listen to Tinariwen, now that I'm thinking about obscure bands/styles. Very interesting band.

Anyone know a good classification for them?

Bluegrass, ska, swing, blues, rock, metal, baroque and romantic classical music, Celtic (see Tannahill Weavers for musical awesomeness), and most traditional folk music styles in general.

Classic rock is the only constant for me. The rest of what I listen to will be completely random. I'm currently into African nationalist songs.

all music nowdays sucks most of it's about sex and alchohol, i prefer 40's swing, 50's jazz and some 60's rock
