People on this thread are only "kids" in an extremely loose sense. You don't see 10-year-olds posting here.

Many are not of the age of majority yet. Ergo, they are kids.

I was "conservative"... until I turned 10.

I then became an Objectivist minarchist (having read Atlas Shrugged and many of Ayn Rand's works) and, since 14, I've been an anarchocapitalist, continuing my rational egoist philosophy.

I'm 15 and 1/3 now, for perspective.

Capitalism is always the answer. Whenever there's a problem in capitalism, you just need some more capitalism. If the solution isn't capitalism, then it's not really a problem. If your capitalism gets damaged, you just need to throw some capitalism on it and get on with your life.

Two pastors showed up at my house yesterday. Apparently my mom went to their church.
They came by to say hi to her, and then I found myself surrounded by christians.
That scared the crap out of me.

It is necessary to expose the false propaganda of the imperialists and thoroughly dispel the illusion that the imperialists will give up their positions in the colonies and dependent countries with good will. It is wrong to try to avoid the struggle against imperialism under the pretext that independence and revolution are important, but that peace is still more precious. VERY different theoretical basis behind it though. And it's quite infantile to equate them accordingly.

Well, I never really believed in religion to be honest. I felt awkward when people walked me into church, and I usually felt bored to death listening to the pastor/priest. What I did do was believe practically everything my grandfather told me, and he in turn believed in everything he heard on FOX.

Despite being a party line marching Republican, he was always pretty inconsistent on religion. He tended to reject views about an afterlife(definitely not always,) yet believed in absolute morality and his moral views lined up pretty neatly with most social conservative religious types. Strangely, pretty much the instant I hit 18 I shifted radically away from this.

Very "vote for Democrats only!". Now I am further left, having realized the Democrats are spineless cowards with no testicular fortitude to stand up against a group of people who are intent on destroying working class America.

I used to be left wing.

I'm 17 turning 18 in a few months and I mock my fellow students and teachers for being socialists. I have now since adopted core fascist principals (I'M NOT A NAZI!) whilst embracing laissez-faire capitalism.

Turning 18 means I'm considered more or less as a "young adult", right?
