I was surfing the web and I found out, recently The Irish Accent was voted most sexiest. I am wondering, how can Irish be sexy?

I personally find the Irish Accent irritable, even though I am Irish. Whats your view?

I think it depends on the part of Ireland as well. The folk I've met from Ulster often have horrific accents whereas the Galway accent is much better.

It's the stereotypical Irish accent that people like. But In reality there is no Irish accent in any part of Ireland that actually sounds like that, just various different ones that don't really sound that great...

The Irish accent is definitely sexy. American and English accents on the other hand are fucking horrible.

With regards to the topic, it depends. With guys who have an Irish accent, I am reminded of the drunk from the Quiet Man. So enjoyable and humorous. Plus a bit cool. With women, it's kind of annoying.

I think you're too close to have a view of what outsiders think. I have greatly enjoyed the traditional tales and songs of the Irish, sometimes wishing that it was part of my heritage.
