This is my feeling when applying my own makeup, and my general preference, but some women can do amazing things with makeup. If it's a 'night out' thing and not an 'every day' thing, sometimes I like it. Women with darker skin tones especially can get very creative with eye makeup. I tend to wear very very little shadow because I'm so pale, anything heavy just makes me look clownish/undead.

I can understand the hatred of makeup trying and failing horribly at the former, but I think intentionally bizarre makeup (thick teal eyeliner! bright purple mascara!) can be awesome. I don't find the second usage of makeup sexually attractive, but I don't think attractiveness should be the only goal in fashion (otherwise Rei Kawakubo would have been beaten out of the industry long ago.)

I feel the opposite way. I think using makeup to create a unique look that couldn't otherwise be achieved is cool, like with goths and 70s glam musicians and whatnot* but using it just to cover up blemishes is insecure.

In case you didn't read the other post I made on this, Liz, that wasn't even close to the case.

I was nowhere near orgasm, nor was she. At the time, she had issues about sex and wasn't apt to talking about them, instead opting for acting like that. But, I didn't treat her badly for it, and I understood why she had those problems. Still, I wish she could've taken a... Less crappy approach and just told me everything that was wrong up-front. She did apologise for acting that way, so like I said, things have improved. And never once did I keep going when I was asked or told to stop.

Speaking from personal experience, it can be nearly impossible to articulate why or if or when sex isn't going to happen in the moment. Assuming that she has been victim of sexual violence of one kind or another, there's no way to guarantee that intrusive thoughts won't pop up. Which sucks for everybody!
