I once saw Barry Chuckle at Taunton railway station with his family. Also, I saw John Carew peeking at lad's mags in Birmingham train station, that was entertaining. Something about me, "celebrities" and train stations. But that's about it.

One of my friends once auditioned for a part on some Nickelodeon show, if that counts.

Oh, I've also met Bobby Bonner, who was a baseball player who played in the longest game ever played.

I haven't met anyone famous myself, though close acquaintances and family have met Chuck Yeager, Duke Cunningham, Brian Bosworth, Ricky Bell, Doug Williams, Mike Washington (former Tampa Bay cornerback), and an Indonesian weightlifter named Ade Rai.

My mom personally met the entire Buccaneers team in 1979, she was dating the equipment manager at the time. She even had Ricky Bell's lobster once. She says Ricky and Mike Washington were pretty rowdy guys, but Williams and Selmon kept them in check.

Please don't take this the wrong way, but I'm not sure I'd go around saying, "My mom personally met the entire <whatever> team." If you know what I mean. It can be taken so many ways you don't want.

I've met and/or performed with several very notable people within the realm of classical/pop-classical music, but most of you probably don't care about them much. I got particularly fangirlish about singing with Susan Egan a few years back, being a Broadway junkie and all, and hanging out with the guys from Chanticleer was also a lot of fun.

Other than musicians, probably the most famous person I've met is John Ashcroft. There's a picture somewhere of me unenthusiastically shaking his hand. :p

I met Hitler once in '45 he kept screaming for me to pour the petrol faster. I kept trying to remind him he hadn't taken his cyanide or shot himself yet. He told me no excuses and to get the job done promptly. I will give ole' Addie credit he went out in a blaze of glory but I eventually had to shoot him myself as his prepubescent screams were quite obnoxious.
