Well Arrakis is the planet around which the entire universe revolves. Plus you would need to have resources gathered from other planets as well.

To a point, yes, but that would mean every single player is forced to focus on taking Dune. No choice to focus on the Bene Gesserit or Mentats, unless you want to fail miserably.

@Nightkill: Sounds entertaining, but more a flash game than a full on video game.
