I was afraid of E.T. I dunno why I always used to have nightmares about him creeping up on me. So much so that when I went over a friends house for a sleep over when I was 7 I through a rubber E.T out of the window into a bucket of oil. This of course alternating between nightmares of E.T's invading my school and brutally murdering everyone. Sheesh.

As for me I have an irrational dislike of looking at people's eyes. When I was a kid I was afraid people would be able to read my thoughts if they looked at my eyes.

I still think that. It doesn't help that a few members of my family claim to actually be capable of reading people's minds -- and given how they are capable of setting people at ease and manipulating them without malice, I'm not entirely discounting that theory.

I also have a rather irrational fear of nonexistence (i.e. death) and an irrational fear of feeling pleasure.
