So, this came up in another thread, and the question is simple. Would you date a clone of yourself? It can either be a clone with the opposite sex or a clone of the same sex, would you?

Honestly I would, mainly because it would probably be the least complicated relationship I'd ever have, and I'm already best friends with someone who is basically a female clone of myself. The only reason we're not dating is that she's a lesbian and is dating my other best friend.

Now the interesting theory in clones that I've always pondered is the question of your clone going through different life experiences than the ones you have experienced. Say you are cloned from birth and your clone is taken to live a different life experience. The possibility that your clone turns out exactly like yourself is probably quite slim. If that were the case, I very well might consider dating myself. Mostly out of curiosity.

But what if my clone were created at the age I am now? Would it basically be a blank slate, or have all my memories? I obviously haven't done a huge amount of clone research.
