Not to get all monkish on you but sometimes a victory feels like a loss and vice-verca.

Not to say being optimistic will assure anything, and of-course picking your battles is important. Yes, I understand sometimes you do not have a choice whether there will be a battle or not, in which case remember something important....It is only school. School is not a mini version of the world you will live in, its more like condensed hell (for some). I understand you are in the UK, but I am sure there are civil right orginizations in your country as well as in mine. You can start documenting the staffs unwillingness to help you and send the information to such an agency. You say you cannot arrest a school, but you can sue just about anything.

You live in the US, in the UK, that's an invalid statement

Also, the system's way to clogged up to do anything, especially looking at the controversy of firing him, seeing as i think he's 5 years or so from retirement and between now and then had a hip replacement.

Civil Rights organisations? Gatherings of people? in the UK?
although on a serious note I will look into that.

Then transfer schools, you have that right.

There are options, man.

And besides, you CAN get multiple people arrested.

I can get multiple people arrested, I can't get everyone. Anyway, ever since I didn't go outside and there's a 'camera' on every hall that few people know are fake, I can almost not get hit in a day.

Also, parents think there's nothing wrong with me until I snap under it. Didn't believe I had a High Fever until I had to go home with a 39oC, wouldn't matter what I did, because I obviously fake it... I'll be allowed to transfer if I slaughter 1337 virgin children for the blood god, though.

Well I've done a lil looking myself.

You have the right of guidance from the 'Crown Prosecution Service' in a case that difines homophoebic crimes. You also have the 'Commission for Equality and Human Rights'. And the LGBT has been working with the UK government to help end discrimination...UK government has been far more receptive than the US thats for sure.

GSA is Gay-Straight Alliance...Its a Highschool group that is supposed to help reduce discrimination against gays. Many schools have them now-a-day

EDIT: I believe some universities prolly have them as well. At any rate, they are most useful in highschools I would guess.

Universities have student groups for all interests under the sun. We were the first official GSA in our district, according to GLSEN. Going well so far this year. Day of Silence is coming up, and Pride where I live, so that's exciting.

How is a day of silence exciting? Wouldn't it be the opposite of exciting?

I was referring to Pride. DoS just sort of fit in the sentence.

Day of silence, abbreviated. ;)

It's purpose is to show how LGBTQ students are silenced by homophobia.

Also, the week leading up to it is full of events we're putting on celebrating tolerance. That's pretty exciting.

I plan on attending. My GSA isn't affiliated with it, it's just something I have a tradition of attending with my friends. Highly recommend it if you haven't gone to one.

I don't really like parades. Too noisy for me. I do remember going to quite a few when I was a little kid, and one with naked bicycle riders at least twice.
