This reminds me of exec meetings at my uni Pride society. They argued for months about the bloody phrase to use. Always wondered if they were gonna go the whole way and re-register as an acronym debating society, going around working out abbreviated terms for everything on campus.

As was I. I remember being attracted to a girl once, when I was twelve.

I was eight years old when I realized I like having sexual fantasies of men...that is when I saw my first picture of a naked man in my father's Playboy magazine...some such story about the glory days of male porn stars...ironically my first (and many more) sexual experience was with a girl -- it was my best friend's girlfriend (not very nice to be sure...but I had such a crush on Tony)...

But then this turn to tragedy as Tony turned out to be gay and fell madly in love with my room mate (that male slut) -- this experience drove me to leave my little hometown in the California desert, and like the road less travelled has made all the difference in my life. If I had stayed, I'd have only a high school education, know nothing of the real world, and a dead end laborer's job...instead I have advance degrees, travelled the world, a loving partner, but alas I am currently unemployed (lifes a bitch)...but overall I'm happy and you can't expect anything more, realistically in my book.

P.S. while I consider myself to be well educated I owe my sense of curiosity and wonder and the love of reading to my mother. I have such fond memories of her reading to me from my earliest childhood days and swapping books throught-out her life...

I wish we could meet aliens and discover how their sex works. Would there be male and female? If there were, would there be homosexuality? Would there be stereotypes of how gay aliens act? It's really interesting when you think about it.

Indeed, that's how we worked. They should, theoretically, be able to blow the whole bloody planet up.

That's not always true. If aliens visited us first, then they're much more technologically advanced than our less advanced society. If that's the case then, they would be tolerant because being intolerant is a primitive way of thinking, like us, and we're a very primitive society compared to aliens who mastered intergalactic travel!

Buffy you are finding discrimination and bigotry when there is none.

I get called a fag by my bf all the time and I call something gay less the 5 hours after i've ridden a cock. donesn't make us any less gay or homophobic.

i have another friend who is gay he calls people fags and gets called a fag by his close mates because he knows they say it without any malice or hatred.
