Sounds like a horrible idea.

That's not creepy and pedo-ish at all.

Technically it's not pedo-ish, when you consider what "pedo" actually means.

Its odd like that. My father has the idea that if its someone choice, then he has no right to interfere or judge them. My mother is still clinging to the idea that continuing the family is the most important duty of any child.

Well I guess if you were the only child in the family she might have a hard time with that. I guess I would be a little frustrated about that too.

It doesn't matter if it is or isn't. /opinion

Anyway, though I am not an only child, my brother is seen as the one needed to be cared for... My family puts a lot of faith on my shoulders, due to my brother's lack of ability and drive.

^This. I feel like it capitulates to the idea of gay-itude as inherently debased to overemphasize that one does not choose to be gay (and what does that imply about bi and pan folks?)

I've never liked it when people use the term gay to refer to lesbians. To me, it seems like lesbians get their own word, let us have our word.

Why though? Gay is gay

No and the people who like to argue it and use it as a reason for supporting gay marriage are bigots themselves.

Yeah, because if it were a choice, people would be doing it to get attention and lower society's standard of them, which is kinda despicable.

Well you can do it the attention seeking way proclaiming to the word and hiring a billboard that shows your face and the words "I love sucking cock"

Or you can just get yourself a boyfriend and when someone asks you if you are gay confirm it.

bit harsh but I feel sorry for people who have to define themselves on their sexuality

Buffett and Colbert wrote:Like I said earlier, people have only just been catching wind of the fact that I'm gay. People generally just call me fag or bitch, but not in a really horribly-natured way.

That doesn't bother me, but what bothers me is that my best friend (although I've been wondering about that "best" part nowadays) constantly uses "fag" right in my face, today even saying, "That song is so horrible! It's so gay." It coming from him hurts.

Buffy you are finding discrimination and bigotry when there is none.

I get called a fag by my bf all the time and I call something gay less the 5 hours after i've ridden a cock. donesn't make us any less gay or homophobic.

i have another friend who is gay he calls people fags and gets called a fag by his close mates because he knows they say it without any malice or hatred.

You just need to lighten up and stop looking for things that aren't there
