Video Games That Shouldn't Have Been Made

95% of games based on either a television show or a movie suck balls. Try to name a video game (other than Star Wars I guess) that was based on a TV show or a movie and is actually good. Good luck, sir.

Not that hard to accomplish if you take the Goldeneye route. Goldeneye was great because Rare took their time and released it two years after the movie instead of rushing out a crappy product.

The problem is that, in order to make things simple, they usually make it a carbon copy of the story.

If they really wanted to make it good, they would make an MMO or role-playing game that takes place in the same universe as the movie.

Well, I'm told Escape from Butcher Bay was decent, though I've personally never played it. Battle for Middle Earth and Battle for Middle Earth II come to mind, though. Those were pretty fantastic games.

Sonic Unleashed for the Wii. Really, the game on the Wii sucked. I prefer my PS3 booze (ironically, I do not have it, and that is the only PS3 game I played). After completing the first few missions, I turned that game off, and let it collect dust.

You really should. I'm sure it's only about 20 bucks by now. It's not the best game technically, but it is a lot of fun. And it seems like the Dan Akroyd really wanted it to be good (for the budget it had).

It has a pretty solid Story Mode, but the Multiplayer sadly gets stale fast. Mostly because most of the people that play it are 12 year olds.
