Don't get me wrong, I love the Army men series, Army men Air Combat (or Air Assault for you ps2 lovers) is one of my favorite games of all time. But Soldiers of Misfortune was released after 3DOs died and is the definition of crap.

Little from column A, little from column B. I'd be lying if I said androgynous is a positive aspect of those characters.

Yes.

Unless of course it's not OK for a woman to ask for a female to ask for a female officer to carry out body checks. In which case, the answer would be no.

There's more Tiberium in Sims 3: World Adventures than there are in C&C4.

Tron Legacy, it sucks, in all aspects.
I love how the manual tries to call Tron a TPS though

Excuse me, sir. Seeing as how the V.P. is such a V.I.P., shouldn't we keep the P.C. on the Q.T.? 'Cause if it leaks to the V.C. he could end up M.I.A., and then we'd all be put out in K.P.

I'm not sure V was even released in the US. I know it took a hell of a long time before II and III were released as II and III. VI was wonderful, though.

It was, first as part of Final Fantasy Anthology for the PlayStation (with FFVI being the other part) then later on for the GBA.

Programming is totally easier now. I've written tons of games with C#/XNA that I never would have bothered writing if I had to use C++. Hooray for automatic memory management.

To the OP: Chrono Cross. Most retarded plot in a video game, ever.

I played the SNES fan translation. 5 isn't crap but it isn't that good either. The AP point thing was annoying. Took forever to master a class.

Programming is easy. Maintaining the program is not. Especially if you release it to millions of people.

Most Object-oriented programming languages are easy. The only ones I thought were hard (for total newbies) is Ruby, Perl, and FORTRAN. Python as well, to an extent.

It's harder to learn HOW to program than it is to learn actual languages.

Besides, if you're going to make even a small game, you need graphics. So just being a code monkey won't cut it.

Oh yeah. I've heard that testing, ideally, should take as long as writing does. Of course, that's not economical, which is why so many broken games are released.

95% of games based on either a television show or a movie suck balls. Try to name a video game (other than Star Wars I guess) that was based on a TV show or a movie and is actually good. Good luck, sir.

Not that hard to accomplish if you take the Goldeneye route. Goldeneye was great because Rare took their time and released it two years after the movie instead of rushing out a crappy product.
