I am an achievement whore so the campaign was the worst bit of that game, plus the multi-player is still uber unbalanced even after all the patches. It seems to be a rush game, not a strategy game.

I think the most obvious would have to be E.T. I think there's actually a landfill filled with E.T. games in the desert somewhere.

As for my personal choice, I would have to say World of Warcraft, simply because ever since WoW success, every other MMORPG company has been trying to cash in on the success with WoW clones, and the MMORPG market has become over saturated with WoW Clones. However, I think the WoW Clones are starting to die off, which is good.

Blizzard can't help your achievement whoring. At lower levels, it is more of a rush or macro based game. But tactics and using units effectively can mitigate rushing.

What's wrong with Resident Evil 2 and 3?

They just weren't as good as the original. They got more about the action and less about the survival.

Survival games only count when the zombies are slow, lumbering, and numerous. Why I don't count Resident Evil as a good SURVIVAL game is because there's all those freaky deaky mutated monsters roaming around.

I usually keep the RE games apart. I always compare them to a party: RE1 treats you like the guest of honor, and the party hasn't even begun yet. RE2 is about being in the thick of it, with the party in full swing. RE3 is more like you're late to the party, and you get to see everyone either drunk (zombies) or passed out (dead).

My favorite, for atmospheric reasons, is RE3. I just love Jill Valentine, and she actually is the protagonist of RE3, instead of being the EASY deuteragonist of RE1... And I fucking hate Chris Redfield.

GTFO and stop trolling. Its RA2 Followed by Renegade and Tiberian Sun. Last is 4 in fornt of four is Generals. But then every strategy game ever comes before 4. Don't get me wrong Generals is fun, it just isn't true C+C game and doesn't live up to standards the other games set. (Excluding 4)

Nemesis himself is a prime example of why I started to stray from resident evil. (cool villian, but doesn't fit the RE mold IMO. Way too over the top. Same went for the giant alligator in the sewer in RE2. WTF?)

RE1 (Again I never played any RE after veronica) was the best one out of the series. It was true survival horror, had some good thrills, and some seriously creepy atmosphere. It did get a little ridiculous with the crazy bosses in the end though, but most games tend to go that way anyway.

It was the harder than 2 and 3 combined. I enjoyed the fact that items were much more scare in the first RE as well. Made you conserve every bullet. But in RE2 and 3 you can just get trigger happy and not worry. Strategy became too simple.

You can kill all your neighbors and also family and hired help in horribly designed murder houses. That's the appeal for me, anyway. I don't play it very much, but I have fond memories of my time guiding the Hellgayte clan to sacrifice all their neighbors and/or maids to the dark, neon-pink flamingo gods which protect our feeble existence from the infinite horrors beyond comprehension.
"Hey look, everyone, it's an indoor pool with only one entrance in a dimly lit room (which also has only one entrance) full of dead bodies and garbage and ghosts! Let's all go party!" - Many, many ignorant Sims.
How they cried and screamed for mercy, or at least a trip to the bathroom, before finally dying.
