If you ask me, Oblivion sounds a bit too silly. I prefer keeping my memories of Morrowind pure of other influences.

Oblivion was really good. Morrowind had a better story, setting and atmosphere, while Oblivion had better game play, better execution of story and better graphics. Hopefully Skyrim tops them both.

I was pretty content with Fallout 3, so I saw no point in getting Oblivion. I never was a big fan of the sword and sorcery BS, so I was pretty psyched an RPG that didn't have swords came up, especially one as badass as Fallout.

Never played Fallout. I'm a pretty solid shot in FPSs, so a shooter where my gun's accuracy is subject to dice rolls would be infuriating.

Morrowind was quite hard. I frequently got lost in cities.

Oblivion was great but going into Oblivion gates gets boring. The guild quest lines make up for it big time.

I actually feel the same way, so I'm proud to appease your fears. It's pretty easy to get your aim skill to 100, so the stats won't really matter; you still have to know how to aim, where to aim, and even WHEN to aim.

Besides, V.A.T.S. can get pretty fucking fun. Watching somebody's head explode never gets old.

Many bad games are important. Without ET and the Atari 2600 version of Pacman, the industry wouldn't have been forced to change into a more efficient beast in North America. Big Rigs has that "so bad, it's hilarious" charm.

Quest 64? Shouldn't have been made. It's main problem? Lack of ambition/balls. ET was ambitious. Think about it. In a market saturated with shooters and Pacman clones, ET's creator tried to do something very different. Plus, he had only a month to do ALL the work. Programming. Design. Graphics. Sound. He did it all by himself in just a month. Even for such a shitty game, that's impressive.

It took huge balls of steel to release Big Rigs as is. Who else had the balls to release an alpha build as a final product?

Quest 64? It's only plus is its battle system. Everything else was just so meh. Its creators showed less passion than a coma patient. Its graphics were meh. Its enemies were ripped straight out of Dungeons and Dragons with almost nothing to set them apart. For a 3d game, it was incredibly linear. Its music ranged from simply boring to grating. It was an N64 game that required a memory card. You could only save inside inns. There was literally no in-game currency (not even generic gold). In short, you'd get more emotion from dirt and more inspiration from a blank sheet of paper.

Oh god I forgot all about Quest 64. And to think I played that game until the bitter frustrating end.

Its story was awful, controls where terrible if they even responded at all, the environments made me sick most of the time
