Ok, we've had a thread on TV shows and Movies that shouldn't have been made. Well now, let's move onto Video Games! List your horrible video games here!

I think the most obvious would have to be E.T. I think there's actually a landfill filled with E.T. games in the desert somewhere.

As for my personal choice, I would have to say World of Warcraft, simply because ever since WoW success, every other MMORPG company has been trying to cash in on the success with WoW clones, and the MMORPG market has become over saturated with WoW Clones. However, I think the WoW Clones are starting to die off, which is good.

Dungeons: It was part Dungeon Keeper 3, part Sim Hotel and part tower defence game. The should have just kept with the DK3 that most of the people buying it thought it would be.

As for my personal choice, I would have to say World of Warcraft, simply because ever since WoW success, every other MMORPG company has been trying to cash in on the success with WoW clones, and the MMORPG market has become over saturated with WoW Clones. However, I think the WoW Clones are starting to die off, which is good.

I actually think the original intention was to have just one FF game, but the first one was apparently so popular that they decided to keep releasing sequels.

You'd think they would at least change the title.

I agree, but its not like it was a travesty. A bit more story and some new units, certainly not groundbreaking, but hardly the scourge of the video game world either.

Hell, it has story to it, which already puts it worlds ahead of many games.

The problem is that reviewers threw 10s at it like it was the second coming. Overhyped, it was a sort of 'Ten years and this is all they've got?' sort of reaction on my part.

Also, I can't remember the last non-mod game I've played without a story.

You will DIE now. The Matrix Online was ONE of the BEST MMOs out there. If SOE wasn't stupid enough to drain the resources and Dev away from MxO, it would still be live today and kicking ass! It was the first MMO to have interlock combat and an ever evolving storyline. It was EPIC!

Any 007 game after Goldeneye, Dragon Age 1 and 2, Any DOOM game that wasn't for PC (okay maybe i'll give a pass to DOOM3), most if not all movie tie in games (the only half decent ones were Spiderman 2, and Avatar), any Leisure Suit Larry game after the Original.

Any Final Fantasy game after 3.

Frankly, I've never played Starcraft... And I don't see the point why, so I probably never will.

Yeah, that's a pretty heavy nostalgia filter you're using. FF7 and Doom, while groundbreaking for their time, are far from the best games ever.

COD: BO(Call of Duty: Black Ops) shouldn't have been made.

Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II. Just use force lightning on every enemy (including the bosses),use common sense and the game's over in an hour and a half. Unless you hadn't heard of these fellows called Revan and Malik before and want to find out every little detail because you have nothing else to do. Then there's the pazaak. The feckin' pazaak. Get this, there's one ending for you being evil and another for being good and they're the same apart from it being hinted at that you've majorly messed up the galaxy for centuries to come if you get the evil ending.

Sword of the Samurai (1980's computer version anyway), too bloody hard.

Why do you blame WoW for an over-saturated MMORPG market caused by developers trying to emulate WoW's success? Shouldn't you be wishing that the WoW-clones were never made?

Modern Warfare 2.

Call of Duty is supposed to be "realistic". In Modern Warfare, you were just a bunch of "normal" soldiers shooting people with above-average accurasy. In Modern Warfare 2, you're basically Spartans that lost your armor when you left the Haloverse. They should have just left the Modern Warfare name alone after the first game.

Sonic the Hedgehog (2006)

The Genesis/Megadrive game is a classic example of great gameplay and level design. The 360/PS3 is the worst perversion of the Sonic name. Yes, it's even worse than the gay Sonic porn (the internet makes no exceptions) and Sonic fanfics. It contained enough implied beastiality to make even the most perverted furry barf. It made ET for the Atari 2600 look good enough to play. You couldn't come up with a worse idea if you suggested they make another Twilight movie just so Justin Beiber could be a singing "vampire". In short, this game will make your 360/PS3 suicidal.
