Thank you - I assume NHK will be on top of things first. Would it be possible to keep updating today? Any word on Sendai, esp. Ishinomaki would be tremendously appreciated. If there is any news on Morioka that would be amazing as well.

Hm, another powerful, shallow quake in the Ring of Fire just after NZ's one. Not good.

I hope the NSGers of the Rising Sun are all ok.

(edit: USGS says 24 km depth, so definitely not shallow.)
