That's why I keep trying not to... But trust me when I say it is HARD watching all the news everyday.

I of course realise that Americans are just like other people, and the intelligent far outweigh the dumb. But Sarah Palin and the Tea Party... As soon as my dad saw his first speech on Sarah Palin he told me that he couldn't believe that that woman was anywhere near politics and that, to boot, she had a ticket with McCain.

But in reality, natural disasters are not good. However, as you stated, it brings countries in willing to aid in the rebuilding. In this case. the U.S.A and Japan.

They'll be fine. I haven't heard of any aftershocks, and if you think about it, Japan has been through much worse and come out stronger.

Maybe, maybe not. Can we possibly be assured that the Japanese people will be fine? There has been plenty of aftershocks since Friday. Well, Japan has been through alot of bad stuff, like the 1923 Earthquake. They really got hurt during World War Two.

It's not just the US and Japan. Search and rescue teams from all over the world are being offered, many of them have only been home a couple of days after the quake in New Zealand.

The worst scenario would be those nuclear reactors completely breaking down and spewing radiation everywhere.
