That's because the GOP didn't run away, they fought on. And thanks to a recent ruling, we may just win HC for now.

they "ran" as hard as they could from 1/09 to 1/11.
and no, you wont win HC nor would it be a win if you did.

Crimes committed by Muslims will be a pan-Islamic plot and proof of Islam's inherent evil. On the other hand crimes committed by non-Muslims will merely be the acts of loners who do not represent their belief system at all.
The probability of one's participation in homosexual acts is directly proportional to one's public disdain and disgust for homosexuals.
If a political figure makes an accusation of wrongdoing without evidence, odds are probable that the accuser or an associate thereof has in fact committed the very same act, possibly to a worse degree.

They didn't physically hide out in a resort, and yes, it would be a win. Not all of us want the US to be a ultra-left nanny state.

See, HC is like food; YES, everyone needs it, but someone has to provide it, and farmers don't work out of the good of their hearts. They do it to make a living. Enter doctors and the like, the 'farmers' of HC.

And yes, that's very mature. Tsk tsk.

The democrats "ran away" to prevent the hostile removal of these people's rights. This is a completely legit political tactic when faced with hostile and injustice members of senate without the ability to actually block or prevent the budget from passing through staying in the building and trying to work out some sort of deal. Had they stayed, Walker would have passed the bill on through without so much as bothering to debate it, because he didn't need to do so.

On the other hand, I think this gives Democrats and unions a magazine box of silver bullets against the Republicans. By separating the Union Buster from the budget bill, they have in effect admitted that busting unions has nothing to do with the budget.

And by violating the Open Meeting Law, they showed that they are willing to dispense with rules and decorum if they want to get something done badly enough.

"Never be deceived that the rich will permit you to vote away their wealth." - Lucy Parsons
Socialism is an economic system characterised by social ownership of the means of production and co-operative management of the economy. "Social ownership" may refer to cooperative enterprises, common ownership, state ownership, citizen ownership of equity, or any combination of these. There are many varieties of socialism and there is no single definition encapsulating all of them. They differ in the type of social ownership they advocate, the degree to which they rely on markets or planning, how management is to be organised within productive institutions, and the role of the state in constructing socialism.

Maybe because they had the ability to filibuster, which doesn't exist in Wisconsin. The was no other way for the Democrats to fight this, or they would have.

Honestly, it seems like Democrats got what they wanted from this. Walker is exceedingly unpopular, there were WEEKS of national media attention on the "situation in Wisconsin" and all the public-sector employees got to have their complaint marches and the like. Now it's time for the basterds to go back home, write up some legislation on allowing filibusters or some shit, and wait until they can reverse this law in a year when they regain power.

Well, it's pretty simple, afterall, he's only human, and humans have the capacity for Sin. He needs the help of God, the community and his family to rid himself of his horrible urges. It's opened his eyes to the need to rid our society of these types of people, and keep them out of our families and away from our traditions of marriage.

conservative idiots didn't want the bill, after the democrats tried to get members of the GOP on board, and passed concession after concession, then liberals started to dislike what the bill was becoming as well.
