I was merely trying to point out how prevalent drinking is for Russians, not necessarily the amounts I drink.

Although I hear crazy stories of relatives' drinking from way back when, in the USSR.

That makes complete sense. I have eaten enough brownies in a night to equal about an 1/8 of pot, and you feel the same way.

This is well known to me, as I have Russian relatives. My cousins speak very fondly of them; they also reminisce: "They could cook like you wouldn't believe, and you've never seen anyone drink so much in your life."

They're not blood relatives, but relatives through marriage. Though through my cousins, I suppose the relation becomes whole. Regardless of that, I'm nearly full-blooded Scotch-Irish. There is a very long history of boozing in my blood.

I don't get it. I really don't. I was set on getting completely trashed, and I ended up getting slightly drunk... Or maybe even just really tipsy. The drinking was spread over the course of maybe four hours, and I had lots and lots of water. I must've wizzed at least eight times that night. I didn't have enough water, though, and my hangover the next day was the worst I've ever had. I felt like I was on the verge of puking, but never actually managed to do so. It was terrible.

I had steak and mac & cheese beforehand. Mom made it. 'Twas excellent.

Edit: Actually, I think it was barbecue. But there was mac & cheese, definitely remember that.

I'm positive it was the NOS being added to the equation, as well as the insane amount of sake I chugged. Next time I drink (during vacation), it shall not happen.

Not really. 18-22 is a wide category. There MAY be more 18 y-o's than 16 y-o's, but the poor design of the poll has clobbered that information.

I'm just about 26. I was 18 or 19 and just starting uni when I first came here... man I feel old sometimes!

I would like the general age is around 16-25. I myself am 13 however.
