It is only infeasible for pacified peoples such as modern West Europeans and Northeast Asians. If you are as pacified as the Chinese or pre-Israel Jews then of course it is infeasible everywhere on this planet. However if you are in a strong tribe such as Bedouins it is feasible everywhere on this planet.

In my opinion knowledge and morality inherently can not mix. The universe is inherently cruel and amoral. All aspects of life, not just human life, are filled with Hobbesian struggle. Morality is man-made and hence can only be enforced by men which is why it inherently does not work wherever and whenever enforcement is lax such as at the top of every society. The Darwinian laws of nature are permanently abiding. On the other hand any man-made rule isn't. It only works under certain circumstances and even under these circumstances only imperfectly.

Whenever knowledge about the universe increases so does knowledge about societies including the fact that human morals aren't really abiding. Eventually any sufficiently knowledgeable society inevitably becomes cruel and divided.
