Will you unequivocally condemn David Duke and say that you don’t want his vote or that of other white supremacists in this election?

Trump: Well, just so you understand, I don’t know anything about David Duke. OK? I don’t know anything about what you’re even talking about with white supremacy or white supremacists. So, I don’t know.

I don't think he's forgetful or ignorant enough to not know who David Duke is. According to him, he withdrew from the 2000 Presidential campaign because of the Reform Party's association with Mr. Duke.

From his withdrawal statement:

Now I understand that David Duke has decided to join the Reform Party to support the candidacy of Pat Buchanan. So the Reform Party now includes a Klansman, - Mr. Duke, a Neo-Nazi - Mr. Buchanan, and a Communist - Ms. Fulani. This is not company I wish to keep.

I'm sure he doesn't. We know he's shocked by what evangelicals believe, suggesting he is not a religious man, and he was pro abortion till he ran as a republican. The guy also used illegal immigrant labor for years despite allegedly being against illegal immigration and has praised China for its ruthless totalitarianism while claiming to be against them. Trump at day's end is a crooked millionaire who likes to fuck other people's wives and do drugs and troll people he doesn't respect. There is not an ounce of values in that guy.

1) Get asked to condemn some radical group. Either say "I don't know who that is" or "Well this other group is also bad".

2) Radicals celebrate, while the media freaks out. If the blowback is severe enough, release a damage control statement. Accuse the media of bias.

3) Rinse and repeat.
