Well... it did work. foreign imperialism just made it unrealistic.

Depends on how exactly you define technocracy, but I do prefer a government that listens to the advice of experts and a competent, well-qualified civil service. Unlike what we have now under Trump.

Out of curiosity, if Trump proclaimed the sky to be blue, would you oppose him?

Bear, that pic violates the PG-13 rule, I’d take it down.

Edit: Dio, don’t quote the post, it only makes it harder to take down.

Of course not. But I imagine if he said the sky was orange, many of his fanatical followers would agree with him.

It’s not PG-13 according to the website.

In not images related news, here's a blogpost that may be of interest to RWDT: https://spottedtoad.wordpress.com/2016/ ... -declined/
Also, who's planning on doing the fall of Constantinople post tomorrow?

i'm going to propose an alternative hypothesis: weakness in marriage is generated by a lack of feminism, in that when feminism is weak, political lesbianism declines, ergo fewer women get married to women (and obviously, too many men are terrible for het*ro """"marriages"""" to be a feasible alternative to lesbian ones) :^)

Worked well enough until a very heavily armed American warship came along.

It's no coincidence whatsoever Protestantism was embraced by the Anglos, Germans and Dutch.

It's just about PG-13 as defined by this site, but it's also irrelevant picspam; unless an attractive young female tennis player scratching her bared arse is somehow a metaphor for Paul Weyrich's critique of the post-war American liberal consensus, and I missed it.

Anyway, please don't do that again; this is a discussion thread, not a thread for nostalgically sharing posters that were popular with college students back in the 1990s. Consider this an informal hand-slap for pic-spamming the RWDT.

I was perfectly happy to warn Risottia once for sharing a picture of Mussolini's granddaughter flashing her breasts, so I have plenty of form for warning right-wing nudity on these forums.

Indeed, no coincidence at all that the freedom-loving, rational and clean-living Germanic peoples embraced Protestantism whilst the temperamental, decadent and workshy Romantics remained with the papacy.

On another note, happy Oak Apple Day, everybody! Long live the Queen!
