Using credit cards or other personal information as proof of age online is likely to cause more problems than it will solve - and frankly an age restriction of 18 is far too high. It's not the 1950s. 16 is the age of consent, and should therefore be the age of porn viewing.

And I'm sceptical about that to be honest... I am yet to see any compelling or rational reason why sex and sexuality should be censored.

Most 13 year olds know a hell of a lot more than their parents are aware of.

Certainly, if I cast my mind back to the age of 13 (and it's a long time ago I must say), I was very much sexually aware and many of my peers were sexually active by that point.

And yet I was terrified of talking about it because, by virtue of the fact that it was censored, I was led to believe that it was somehow 'wrong' or 'evil' which is categorically untrue and a completely irrational position to take.

So... yeah, censoring it is just fucking stupid and is only going to result in another generation of people with anxieties about sexuality for no reason.

My "first time" was 5th grade. Most people started in 6th.
