Why are Christian texts more valid than Jewish texts? If it's fine to deny civil rights to gay people based on the Bible, why isn't it fine to deny the right to eat shellfish based on the Torah?

Actually, the Romans fell due to the migration of Germanic tribes into Roman territory that were displaced due to Hunnic peoples moving west. By sheer coincidence, this was also around the time that the Romans converted to Christianity, so they were destroyed right around the time they got put on God's path.

Marrying another man is not an unalienable right like voting, etc. It is a selfish and sinful desire that the gay movement is trying to spin as something perfectly commendable when we all know deep in our hearts it is not. You have a right to a real marriage with the opposite sex. And you have a right to a gay civil union. Pick one.

It is a typical response of a sinner to become angry when confronted with his sins. It is selfish in the sense that they are putting their own sexual desires in front of the desires of their creator.
