If it was people would come down with acute radiation sickness... where are the victims? This is top-tier misinformation.

Many of these perceptions are based on subjective risk perception rather than an objective measure with scientific evidence

Money talks. Japan and Qatar paying money for preferential treatment.

Yes people are frightened, in South Korea... without objective evidence of threat.
This is like PRC's reaction to the Japanese intentions to release processed water from the Fukushima NPP into the Pacific, which mind you was to almost declare war.

That's the 1st ruling.

Yeah, just because Japan isn't transparent enough to send scientific findings on their own radioactive field doesn't mean the place nor its agricultural products are safe. That's what Japan wants the world to know.
You have radiophobia and possibly is severely biased because of your nationality. Hence why you are coming out with misinformation like "Japan is feeding Olympic athletes Radium like Unit 731!!!!!!"

Didn't I show you the ruling won by South Korea? You got concrete evidence of their lack of safety, and your alleged claim of "radiophobia" and "bias" just flies in the face, along with your casuistry.

Yeah they won a meaningless court decision on what food to import, that's their sovereign prerogative. What's it got to do with:
A: The Olympics
B: Fukushima?

The fact that she did not advance probably won't shut up the TERFs and misogynists who don't think that trans women are women or that trans women have an inherent advantage in athletics over cis women, but she has made history.
I don't know how true it is, but some people have said that Hubbard didn't just fail but was uncharacteristically bad in order to get people to say exactly what you just said. It would have been worse for Trans politics if Hubbard had confirmed the Randy Savage meme.

Boxer Carlo Paalam also won his quarterfinal match in the men's flyweight today. Even if he loses his semifinal bout he still comes home with a bronze. This means we're assured of winning FOUR Olympic medals, the highest Olympic medal haul in our history ever.
Tonight, EJ Obiena competes in the men's pole vault finals. If he wins at least a bronze we come home with five medals.
EDIT: Forgot to add, we actually have two more athletes who are yet to compete - Yuka Saso and Bianca Pagdanganan, who are both competing in the women's individual golf event, which will begin tomorrow and continue until the 7th. Saso and Pagdanganan both made it to the event after the qualifying round back in June, placing eighth and 43rd, respectively.
EJ Obiena - who I am just finding out went to the same university as me and I was there at the same time he was - finished 11th in the finals of men's pole vaulting. Unless our two women in the women's individual golf final get a medal it looks like we're coming home with just four.

Boxer Eumir Marcial just lost his semifinal bout with Ukrainian Okelsandr Khyzhniak. I watched the whole thing holy crap I thought Marcial had this in the bag due to the first two rounds. The last one just really made Khyzhniak win.
Marcial still comes home with a bronze.

This time the fourth rider in the NZ team took himself out after clipping the bike in front.
Australia managed to avoid crashing after lapping the stranded third remaining NZer, thus winning bronze. (This was yesterday's problem.)
Chaotic.
(In the previous round, both NZ and Italy broke the previous world record... Italy won, of course, setting the new record, so Australia were underdogs, perhaps the pressure of expectation got to the NZers?)

Did you catch the rider on the British women's team rear-ending her teammate on the cooldown lap because she was busy celebrating their win?

Well, I didn't know Phillipines could win that many of medals. We're seeing a new Paoqiao boxer, perhaps?
