Well...they didn't purge everything Soviet. They still have some Soviet monuments in Poland, according to a Communist-Polish friend of mine. And Russia still has some abandoned Soviet submarine bases and abandoned Soviet nuclear bunkers lying around.I know that from Military History Channel

Most regimes didn't exist for the sole purpose of preserving slavery against a democratic regime that had merely threatened to stop its spread and not actually even ban or otherwise restrict it.
