Because in a democratic setting rioting only makes you look bad and causes you to get less votes and less chance of anything being done about it.

Less votes? Is there a Riot Party I don't know about? What's the name of the candidate they're running?

American police departments are in need of reform and improvement. But the last thing we need is mob rule.

Proud of America? I am ashamed to be an American. Why can't I live in a civilized country where people obey the law and respect authority?

You can't. The anti sjw npc programming is so strong they don't care how many die. They will still support there views from there echo chamber no matter what.

Look at covid-19. They support Trump despite under his watch 100,446 people that died under his watch.

We can avoid mob rule if the government works for the people.

No one is calling for mob rule. Reform is needed. That is beyond dispute.

The police and national guard gunning people down and using a disease as an excuse is not the way to go

The way police currently act, we're under the rule of gangs.

It's why there's protesters outside my damn job with signs saying stupid shit like "COVID-1984."

The dems want police reform right? That will be harder for them to do if people who want police reform go around setting stuff on fire.

The people who dont want reform will point at the rioters as reasons not to make the changes.

They were doing something. The simple truth is that investigations involving police are tricky, and the prosecutors wanted to make sure that not only did they have every potential angle covered, but also that whatever they charged him with would be something that would stick.

Moving too quickly on this sort of case is a great way to have it fall apart for numerous reasons, and anybody who wants a conviction to stick needs to make sure they have all relevant evidence at hand.

True but the evidence is kinda overwhelming.

So it does look like he killed a guy but it is all allegations until the trial is over.

You know better than that "Stop sucking the cops dick so hard." I should not have to remind you about civility.

I doubt the dems really want police reform. One of their former candidates this year was a crooked cop, and in Detroit, a Democrat run city, police brutality is endemic. Im sure progressive democrats like bernie sanders want police reform, but alot of your mainstream dems really just call out abuse in name only and aren't actually doing anything to stop it. They don't really care.

I think some would argue that mob rule is the current status quo. We just gave that mob badges and shielded them from consequences.

Up to the courts, or does that apply when everyone and their grandmother gets to voice their opinion on the internet?
