America has far to much security to allow ISIS in, and why would they attack furries anyway. They would attack something where there is lots of people, would threaten America's grip on the world, and make it targeted towards the western worl in general. Right now ISIS pose no real threat to the rest of the world.

Since it was pointed out that this was more a stink bomb than actually trying to kill people, I am now leaning more toward pranksters or disgruntled furries as the most likely suspects.

The time when people found out this was happening was at 12:04. A.M.

Therefore, whoever did this was not hellbent on trying to destroy the furry fandom or ruin their morale, considering whoever placed the cleaning agent there did it at night.

The cons I've been to usually had a lot of room parties around that time of night. But I am not a furry and I wasn't there, so I don't know if the powder was placed on a floor of the hotel that was being used for parties.

Actually, the source says chlorine gas, but later just says powdered chlorine. So, an accident is possible, yeah. Also, trying to kill a bunch of people isn't the same as terrorism, so even if it was intentional, it's still too soon to even suspect terrorism.

And if there's one party, there are usually others on the same floor. They usually put the parties together on one floor instead of having them spread throughout the hotel because that way all the noise is in one area and it doesn't keep the whole hotel awake.
