Guns aren't allowed in Army barracks ironically, so that can't happen regardless.

That said, it's normal for adults to keep some firearm in the bedroom.

Pretty sure it's not.

At least, not over here.

Eh, keeping them under the pillow maybe.

But I mean cuddling it like a stuffed animal or like how I cuddled with your mom last night is kinda weird.

Among gun owners it is. My wife's 12 gauge is in the bedroom closet. Perfectly within reach if something should happen.

That was about as smooth as using sandpaper as toilet paper.

I found some old stuffed animals from when I was little in my closet.

A stuffed cat with a comically large head that my dad brought back from a business trip to Indiana when I was 6

A stuffed cat I made at Build-a-Bear when I was 7

A stuffed cat I got when I was 8 that, when you pull apart the Velcro on its belly, reveals tiny stuffed kittens (which in retrospect was kinda weird)

A pink teddy bear my grandma gave me when I was 4

I do, but it can typically only fire once every few hours.

Well, I think. Haven't really put it through a stress test.

I've got a few stuffed animals from when I was a kid. I got rid of most of them when I got older, but I kept the ones with sentimental attachment. I don't sleep with them, though. I can't tolerate things in my bed when I'm trying to sleep (except my kitties).

A boy sleeping with a stuffed animal after about eight or nine is a little bit odd, but if there aren't a bunch of obvious warning signs of effeminacy it's probably not an issue.

Not liking to sleep alone is more typical of women.

It blows my mind that anyone would care about somebody owning stuffed animals merely for comfort or nostalgia. I still have some from my childhood - they were quite dear to me and I'd be a bit upset getting rid of them.

Regardless of polling, everyone MUST agree that stuffed animal toys are adorable

Agreed.

Dolls, on the other hand, are terrifying. According to my little sister, at least. And trust me, if there's one thing I've learned in life, it's to never contradict the chaotic neutral nine-year-old...

Indeed.

Giving them one of my plush foxes tonight as an offering seemed to appease them, however. Apparently it's name is 'Spark' now.

As someone who collects dolls, I'm not in a position to criticize anyone for the childish desire to own stuffed animals into their adulthood.
