I was under the impression that threads were for the people of the forum to discuss a topic or news article, not for the OP to espouse his or her particular view on the matter.

Probably because some of his opinions were based on a false assumption. Obviously something needs to be done to protect Asians, but enough with this narrative that Asians are suffering due to the bigotry of white people and that an army of white rednecks are marching on Asian communities.

My comparison talks about the quote systems that were used to discriminate against jews in this country in the past, as being similar to the ones discriminating against Asians in the presence.

. The issue is saying asian kids become American and the imimplication of the comparison is that Jewish kids dont.

Actually less offensive than an "Average Joe" reading of your earlier post. I'll leave it there for now, since it doesn't seem relevant to the thread.

It's the other way around. This is another case of a "white supremacist" attack.

Anti-Asian sentiment and violence only entered mainstream discourse both in Europe and America when a white guy finally committed some. They put a white face to the phenomena that is overwhelmingly not committed by white people. OP did the same.
