You, beyond any reasonable doubt, made this thread to downplay the atrocities committed by the majority-Turkish Ottoman Empire and its collaborators against the entire Armenian population.
You decided to play a "whatabout this" card by showing an awful, awful, but nevertheless significantly smaller-in-scale atrocity, doubtlessly with an intent to deflect from the factually-correct foundational argument that a Turkish-majority state committed one of the worst crimes in history.
What happened during the 80s and 90s is a travesty that shouldn't ever be repeated. What the Ottoman Turks and their allies did in the 1910s and 20s is, in scale, incomparable and unatoned for.
May the victims of both tragedies rest in peace, and may your soul find itself on the path of accepting the historical crime of your nation and reconciling it with this modern era.
