The UK has pledged not to extradite him to a country with the death penalty. That will cause a war of words with Trump.

He's not under indictment for any charge carrying a death penalty so that is moot. The UK has stated it arrested him on the behalf of the US. He's being held for violating bail and will soon be extradited to the US and tried there. Here's hoping he's also subpoenaed before Congress so he can tell us who in the Russian government or elsewhere he was acting for as a cutout to Roger Stone and the Trump campaign. P.S.
