The call on App State's radio network was absolute gold. They went nuts. Shame that game was on ESPN+, but I guess they were bound to try to effectively paywall a Gameday game at some point.

Also, not a huge fan of Gameday going to Knoxville this week. You never get the chance to go to Lawrence and they should have taken the opportunity! If Kansas wins this, it's not improbable they start 6-0!

FCS university (Stephen F. Austin)—in Texas and not one to sneeze at no less—playing an NAIA opponent (Warner Royals). Not much of a contest.

I'm familiar with SFA, not so much Warner, but I'm more surprised by the score since usually the coaches don't let things get that extreme. The biggest blowout I;ve ever seen was South Dakota State 90-6 over Arkansas-Pine Bluff a few years ago, and afterwards there were complaints about SDSU running up the score; the thing is the later scores weren't even really attempts to score. One was something like 70-yard run by SDSU's 4th-string QB where he was just jogging down the field, was it really worse for him to jog into the end zone or just run out of bounds? Interesting question imo.
