If you work for a contractor and not the authority you can make real money. Its a shame more folks don't go into railroad engineering.

Here in Boston, our issue is older lines. And the snow will mess stuff up. But there's aggressive, daring expansion all the time. I just wished they also fixed the current stuff.

Fixing what you have isn't sexy. A politician can't claim credit for cleaning the track switches, or making sure a underground platform has adequate ventilation. A Shiney new station or elevator can be on local TV.

even the ADA projects the rabbit is referring too will add about 500 elevators to what we have now, and we can't maintain what we have now.

Want to make over 100k a year in three years?
learn to fix elevators and escalators and work for transit.
