Republicans in the Kentucky legislature are considering outright stealing the Governor election they just lost according to the Senate President. They re making the claim that the Libertarian candidate was a spoiler and Bevin would have won if not for him and might attempt to declare Bevin the winner according to the Senate President Steve Stiver. Bevin has not conceded to Beshear.
If this plot succeeds I hope there are mass protests in Frankfort and these people are forced out of the capitol building. Hopefully a court will stop this coup. Gov elect Beshear isnt going to let them get away with it.
I think its quite clear at this point Republicans see Democracy as an annoyance.
Your thoughts NSG?

with less than 1% and without a total majority, your argument is invalid. You act like Republicans can't issue a recount, but oh God the Dems DESERVE a recount in Georgia. Who the fuck are you to say what is and is not democratic, you fucking hypocrite?!

There was evidence of possible fraud. Here there is not. And you didnt answer my question. You made arguments against democracy saying it was unfair urban areas get their fair share of representation and we should give more to farms because dirt. You also said it wasn't fair a vote in a city counts the same as of someone in a farmhouse.

Excellent news from Kentucky in my opinion. Bevins is an asshole, but the Democrats are objectively worse.

LP is a sensationalist tabloid, I’d go with American sources for this election for obvious reasons. You can’t be biased with raw numbers

That’s what we do down here in Georgia. If no candidate wins an outright majority then another election takes place so that a candidate has an outright majority.

Yeah lets set the precedent of overturning election outcomes we dont like. If a Democratic legislature even hinted at something like this you'd be screaming bloody murder.

Exactly that's why our last election had little miss AOC rip-off making up voter suppression and crapp to try and have a re election and hope she got more votes. God bless Governor Kemp!
Don't you love democracy?

Because it's legal and the recounts are normal in elections this close.
You have in the past called for recounts in Florida and other states as Galloism demonstrated.
By your own logic, you hate democracy and wanted to steal elections.

LP has constantly been pro-De Gaulle, but in later years even the far-left have praised its neutrality.
I'll take that over Fox News and CNN, any time.

Why the fuck should I answer to you, when all you do is regurgitate the same damn shit over and over again, you are incapable of learning anything new.

San Lumen wrote:OEP outright called for the legislature to overturn the election. If Bevin wants a recount fine but he has to pay for it. Its very doubtful a 5000 vote lead will be overturned via recount. The issue here isn the legislature is openly talking about overturning the election result.
