This is not disputed by anybody. Pre-surgery trans women who are not on hormones have, on average, much higher natural testosterone levels than cis women do on average. The requirements for testosterone levels are fair and should extend to cisgender women.

Because it disagrees with your views, I presume. Media Bias/Fact Check (the most reliable source for this kind of thing) says correctly that it reports factually most of the time, but has a centre-left bias: https://mediabiasfactcheck.com/the-guardian/
If you really can't handle The Guardian, the CBC also reported about IOC guidelines here, but I suppose that will be discounted as well because it describes something that happened.

They're different things, semantically. "Female" is a biological term, whereas "woman" is a social term for gender.

In the vernacular of ordinary people, it hardly matters. Any Average Joe on the street would use the terms interchangeably. Not everyone is a linguist, and not everyone cares to differentiate between "Woman" and "Female" in that way. Hell, even with transgenders, you have "Trans Woman" and "Male to Female Transgender" used pretty interchangeably. At least, that's the way I see it.

Nope. Like I said, "female" is the biological term, which is used for every species on the planet, whereas "woman" is the social term (specifically for adult humans who identify as female, which includes trans women).
