You would not be generating that much downforce at drifting speeds.
But I do not know, honestly that whole concept is pretty bizarre to me.
If you want maximum downforce at the cost of the forward drag of a pick up?
I mean I am sure you can get great downforce from a less ungainly design though.

Well, you have 800 hp, so...
And again, you're trying to look at this car like you'd buy a station wagon.

Well looking at that Japanese video and that one car with a ten foot tail pipe, it seems the look is more important than pure performance anyways I guess.
But yeah, clearly the whole thing is completely lost on me.
I just do not get it.
But each to their own.

The Gruppe5 should not be confused with a Bosozuki car. The Gruppe5 is really an attempt to make a race car with license plates, which is why it's built on a car that already is road legal. Bosozuki is just Japan being Japan and adding bonkers aesthetic mods to make their cars look like cartoon versions of Group 5 race cars from the 80s.

Still the Gruppe5 is keeping that shape. Sure the Japanese are pure parody, while this actually does try to get performance as well. But is this the best body for the job?
Or because it has a certain look?
Sure you need A used body for the legal stuff but you have plenty to choose from.

You're really over thinking this.

This would salvage a thousand jobs.
Electric trucks are a great idea because a corporation can manage fleet recharging much more easily than can one household. It would be an economic boon to the fleet, and maybe to Amazon?
