I did not read the page in detail but the images did not show an internal courtyard large enough to put a modern backyard pool and plant some trees on the side. Which really would be the ideal.
The plans could easily be elongated if the specific site where the building was going to be located allowed for it, which in turn would allow for a pool and trees to be integrated with the layout. Here are some more examples:
