As an analogy: Ilhan Omar has said some disgusting things about jews, But i'm not going to call for her to be locked up; hate speech is not illegal. It is still hilarious to see someone who's used accusations of racism get flak for saying such things, and to see other people who have built themselves up as opposed to hate speech circle the wagons.
