I have a pretty optimistic view about this one. the last time something of this caliber happened in Iran it was the 2011 elections, and that was just the upper-lower and middle class talking. this time, it's more than that. the poor budget policies and the fact Iran is overall tired of the theocracy might make it that reforms, or dare I say it even a change, might occur.

I get that I come out somewhat strong on this issue, but Ali is not exactly a stranger to protests and we kind of have a mode of operation nailed down for that. He's not worried about a sternly written letter from the UN in regards to his conduct.

I dislike it as well, but I expect it won't flare up until a full fledged rebellion and just end with the typical repressions.

Not unless the Sauds and Trump does something covertly.
