Should School Attendance be Compulsory?

Because I don't pay taxes, and I live in the UK so I'd find it hardpressed to file a lawsuit on account of something being unconstitutional (uncodified is a mess), and it'd be a fruitless endeavour since the courts are funded by the government who are in turn funded by the taxpayer, so the courts are pretty dependent on taxes and aren't likely to rule against them.

How is it that you don't pay taxes? And why do you hate public education so much. How would you reform the system? Change needs to start somewhere. run for parliament or get attention to your cause by filing suit.

I'm 23, also in education, and am unemployed (and before you insinuate, I take no benefits ), yet for some reason, I'm pro-taxes, and will remain pro-taxes once I enter a career field.

Yes, at least until 16. How can one succeed in life without at least basic education?
Also, education at compulsory age must be offered by the government and free of charge, including text books over $30. Well, at least this is how it is in my country, and it kinda works.

Why should there be a choice? Parents or students should be able to choose to be totally uneducated? Should there be homeschooling or should that be a choice too?

It's basically just public school with extra steps. Taxes still pay for, schools likely would steal likely have to fall within some net of curriculum in order to qualify, and most kids would still end up in general ed.
