That is the point. So, what is the best? To follow a shador or to remain in the full dark? I do prefer the shadow but, it's a personnal choice and everyone should be able to make it.

I prefer enlightenment, for it makes you see reality as it is. Mankind created gods to make sense of their world, for giving a personality to natural processes gives you the soothing illusion that nature can be reasoned with. Genesis claims that God made man in His image, but it's actually the other way around. It's all about humanity as the center of the universe, but it is generally called God in order to claim false humility.

Not really, I do see the things in quite a platonic view. There IS something, but we're simply to inferior to fully understand it. And so, we must follow the religion who is the nearest to what we think God is. Or no religion if you don't give a crap 'bout it...

Why is that argument a question?

Source? No. You can't say every atheist supports same-sex marriage, because atheism is just the rejection of god or gods. Nothing to do with that. And no, they didn't help spread it.

Atheism is quite possibly one of the worst sins in the eyes of the Church. It includes a complete rejection of Jesus, the authority of the Church, the love of God - almost every single Catholic doctrine about the divine. It most certianly is a mortal sin, if the other two conditions for a mortal sin are met.

Other grave sins are illegal, such as murder, rape, theft, etc. Atheism, which is just as bad (if not even worse) than those sins, ought to be illegal too. Also, it would be a deterrant to conversion to atheism and most likely result in significantly fewer atheists.

So, why shouldn't atheism be illegal? Where is my logic wrong?

Why do you think that that the above things are wrong?

1. God condones the death of those who disobey his commands, and many times showed mercy.

2. That verse is in reference to adultery

3. In my opinion, as the potter, he can do what he likes to the pot.

They all go against the basic HUMAN rights.
Murder is unnatural, and has been a crime way before that of Christianity.

Hmmm....
Deuteronomy 22:28-29 “If a man meets a virgin who is not betrothed, and seizes her and lies with her, and they are found, then the man who lay with her shall give to the father of the young woman fifty shekels of silver, and she shall be his wife, because he has violated her. He may not divorce her all his days."

Exodus 22:16-17 “If a man seduces a virgin who is not betrothed and lies with her, he shall give the bride price for her and make her his wife. If her father utterly refuses to give her to him, he shall pay money equal to the bride price for virgins."

Again, you are violating a person by not respecting their rights.

And again, it is simple, stealing from someone who has earned or made something is taking away something they earned or are trying to earn. A crime since before the establishment of Christianity.
But stealing to survive when you are on the brink of death, is that wrong?

But where do these human rights come from? Everything is permissible under atheism. "Survival of the fittest".

The ten commandants laid down the foundation of modern Western law and this is a widely accepted truth. But western law no longer makes sense. From the atheistic point of view, if someone has something I want, and I'm stronger than him, and I take it, how is it wrong.

Also, about that africa thing: Atheists help spread AIDS because they approve of same-sex marriage.

How about evidence for God?

Is there any evidence at all for any kind of God?

Is there any evidence that Christian God is any more lily than Zeus?

As far as I see it, the bible was just made up and Jesus was a real person, but not the son of God. I would say he was a Judean rebel against Rome and he needed a way to get more followers so he said he was the son of God.

It's wrong by that fact of what you've defined as logic - if that's a considerable use of the term now, than I suppose I am the Prophet Mesiah President of Wadiya.

You're comparing a person's choice in belief with actual harmful crimes - I see no analogous connection there other than uncited crap you've continuously spewed.

Look at the facts, obviously evolution is fake because if it was real we could fly like planes. Also, Atheism is bad, not only for people's salvation but also their health. Over 70% of all jail inmates are non-christian, and 82% of all people who have been sentenced to death didn't believe in God. Not only does Atheism promote crime, but also terrorism.

First, the term you're looking for is society. Most people agree that the line between civilization and nonsedentary societies relies primary on agriculture rather than the development of internal rules.

Second, don't be silly. Of all the systems used to enforce social order, religion, whether 'true' or 'untrue', has been used as such in order to keep the elite in power and unite disparate groups. Not so much for reducing the incidence of crime.

If your god won't answer one prayer of his believers not one, he is cruel. And considering he's all powerrul he should at least do one.
2nd. Your not one to talk on clouded minds. We do not listen to a 2000 year old, bronze age, book of impossible events, created by men. We listen to those that can prove things via observation and testing or in the case of evolution, fossil records.
3rd. Wrong how?
4th. I'm sorry what? I'm now doubting you have that 'friend'. Just because we ignore a 2000 year old book written by men that is backwards doesn't mean we have no morals. If you think we murder steal and rape all the time your holy book states that all non-believers shoud be killed which is murder. And it also says slavery is ok, andd it says if a man touches a woman then he has to pay 50 silvers to her father and they can never divorce(which can mean that man can rape the woman all he wants if he wants to). Also you Christians seem to ignore the crusades where they raped, stole, killed in the name of your god. Your criminal point is BS. Also abortion? Your anti-women aren't you? It's the woman's choice if she wants to go through a painful process she never wanted and have a thing she never wanted. This means she'll never love the child and is forced to either take care of it or kill when it can think and has affection while abortion kills it while it can't fully think. And Euthanasia is basically putting down someone in constant pain. If you think it's wrong your a selfish person who wants that last few years not knowing that rhey just want to die.
5th. No it doesn't your holy book doesn't prove anything.
6th. Yes all non-christians are murderous sociopaths that love killing cute animals and drink blood *sarcasm*. We follow the rule of basic moral code and the law. Murder is wrong. It seems you don't know this because...
7th. Your advocating murder of any who don't believe what you believe contradicting your 6th statement. Your arguments are hypocritical. And no your bible doesn't equal the law.

Secondly, Western law was never based on the foundation of religion, you might want to understand how the Separation of Church and State clause works - because it seems you really do not understand Revolutionary American values.

Thirdly, did you really just compare Atheism to Darwinism?

It most certianly is a mortal sin, if the other two conditions for a mortal sin are met.

Other grave sins are illegal, such as murder, rape, theft, etc. Atheism, which is just as bad (if not even worse) than those sins, ought to be illegal too. Also, it would be a deterrant to conversion to atheism and most likely result in significantly fewer atheists.

So, why shouldn't atheism be illegal? Where is my logic wrong?

It starts with your basic assumption that the church, jesus, god, the bible et al are correct and infallible.
