As a Spaniard, I've never encountered any resentment from Puerto Ricans. In fact, the relationship between PR and Spain is very amicable.
I get the feeling they wouldn't say it to your face, Nana, especially if you're nice, but it's there.
I don't resent Spaniards at all. I may have said so before somewhere, but it was in jest, honestly. I think it's stupid to resent the Spanish, regardless of all the awful things they did to PR...
