Ah, we do.

What? This is the original one, from April its been going on. There are always debates on God, but no threads just about Christianity.

I agree, and think that correspondance to actual things like deep sea vents is coincidental. The sky doesn't have windows, though they may have thought it did, and there's no way they could have known about deep sea phenomena.

I thought there would be more Catholics and Orthodox than Baptists.

I can sympthasize with the various branches of Eastern Orthodoxy and Baptism, although I am not sure what I am.

My interpretation of the New Testament(as long as it pertains to the teachings of Jesus) is quite literal and in a way even Tolstoyan.

I try to adhere to the principles and teachings Jesus as set forth in the New Testament to the best of my ability.

Am I a Christian? I try to be.

How does a Catholic and an Orthodox differ other than their region and that one is headed by a pope and the other by a patriarch.

I have a problem with the poll. You list "Protestant" as a separate option, and then go on to list several protestant denominations. Protestant, just as Christianity is, is an umbrella term.

Well I explained it in detail a few pages back.

Then again it's not like you have the worlds largest database at your finger tips.

There is also no regional differance, Orthodoxy can be found roubd the world, the same for Catholics.

I was wondering about that myself. I don't understand why protestant would be on there, its not a denomination or church, its a group of denominations. It would make more sense to have a Mormon option, which is missing.

We have a "protestant" option, but not a mormon option? Anyways, my parents converted to the LDS church, and I was raised in it. So I am a mormon.

You want me to replace it with Mormon?

It doesn't affect me, I just found it a bit odd.

I'm glad they took the stance (it's not like it was a surprise, they have family stuff all over their walls), but it doesn't make a difference to me.

If McDonald's CEO said they support same-sex marriage, I'd still go there.

It's just a company and their position doesn't matter to me, though I agree with it. (Still, interestingly, I'd allow same-sex marriage, even though I don't agree with it. My personal views differ from my political views... do I make sense? lol)
