They just opened a Chick-fil-a here for the first time, and man-o-man, it was fucking nasty. No, nasty would be a complement because that meant that it had some sort of character outside of some chickenlike slab betwixt something resembling bread.

This will be the easiest boycott since Nike (not liking sneakers in general as I do).
"...I have been gravely disappointed with the white moderate. I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in the stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Council-er or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who prefers a negative peace which is the absence of tension to a positive peace which is the presence of justice; who constantly says "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I can't agree with your methods of direct action;" who paternalistically feels he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by the myth of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait until a "more convenient season." -MLK Jr.

I know, I can't figure it out for the life of me. I mean Popeye's AND KFC both have more flavor in their chicken than Capricious Zealouts-A, so how in the blue hell have they survived?

No coincidence that I stopped going there a long time ago. Well, it is, but I didn't want to say that.

They have the worst service of any "fast food" chain I have ever been to, so I wasn't planning on going back to begin with.

Oooor you could simply go find better veggies than what they offer under the sprayers at the supermarket, same thing with the eggs.

The last thing I made with MSG was a cabbage from a farmer's market. I used half a teaspoon on the whole head. Ooh, so lazy.

You can have it, I'll stick to going to the Hooters across the street from Chik-fil-A and convincing the waitress to let me.... nevermind, the point is it would be offensive to the "Family Values" set that regularly parks their fat asses in Chik-fil-A's across this nation.

Postby Cill Charthaigh » Sun Jul 22, 2012 7:53 pm

Chick-fil-a is amazingly good IMO. As much as I support gay rights, come on. It's tasty and the only part that bugs me about their Christian practices is that they are closed Sunday.

Chick-fil-a is bringing a breach of contract action against the Muppets.
The damages are expected to be high enough that Chick-fil-a may become the owners of the copy right to the Muppets franchise.

Some how I think Disney might be amused by that concept, saying they own those rights and Disney don't play fair.

Yeah. The Chick-fil-a lawyers shouldn't hold their breath. Even if they prove breach of contract, the damages won't be anywhere near the value of the Muppets franchise.
