Ooh, I just finished the Battle for Skandia (4th book). I'm really liking the series so far.

I've been switching back and forth between that series and Brandon Sanderson's Cosmere Universe (whichever of the books are available, I read)

I've finished White Sand, Elantris, and Mistborn Era 1. Right now I'm reading Warbreaker.
NS Stats are sometimes right, but sometimes wrong. TG me if you have questions, but the most important thing to know is that Lorrana is capitalist, even though the stats show otherwise

I read Socrates: A Man For Our Times and I'm working on my essay right now and I found service for assignment help. They can help with grammar and proofreading check. That's convy. Hope with a little help of pro writers I'll get good grade and finish my essay on time.

Lost Empress by Sergio de la Pava.

At times it makes me want to cry, or scream, or sit and think. At others I am overcome with the profound absurdity of his brilliant dialogue. This book features many different plot threads, most starkly different in tone but kept together - just barely - by the singularly off-kilter magnetism of de la Pava’s prose. Cut apart and laid out into even just two separate books, you might see a farcical satire on sporting and generational wealth and a dark look into the horrors of crime and punishment and the inescapable cycle of America’s prison industrial complex. I don’t quite get what it is about this book that keeps me reading, By all accounts from my body I hate it at times, and yet others I think it is the most brilliant thing I have ever read. Most likely this brilliance is more like a sharp knife, cutting deep into my heart. While more cohesion to this explosion of story might make it as close to perfect as possible, I truly do not know how that could have happened without sacrificing its strange charm and indescribable energy.

I cannot recommend this highly enough if you have the time to really sit, enjoy, and think.

I haven't been reading for a while now, but I'm picking up A Pocket Full of Rye by Agatha Christie again. It's a short crime fiction book and considerably good, just like most of Agatha Christie's works.

Narrative of the life of Fredrick Douglas
The West won the world not by the superiority of its ideas or values or religion … but rather by its superiority in applying organized violence. Westerners often forget this fact; non-Westerners never do.

The most fundamental problem of politics is not the control of wickedness but the limitation of righteousness.

I’ve read some of her stuff before, namely Downbelow Station. It’s pretty good, and there’s a filk album based on that universe.
